A series of community workshops
were conducted on Old Town Cordelia as part of the Solano
County General Plan update program. The community workshops
were designed to give the public an opportunity to provide
input in shaping the future of Old Town Cordelia. These workshops
focused on future land use issues and the historic character
of the community.
Each community workshop was interactive, with participation of community
stakeholder groups, agencies, residents, property owners and
others and was built upon the work from the previous workshop.
Through the community workshops, land use and circulation opportunities
and issues of concern were identified for consideration
in the development of conceptual land use alternatives for
the area. Based on community review of the alternatives, a
preferred alternative will be identified. The alternatives
will be considered by the Citizens Advisory Committee for consideration
as part of the General Plan.
