Middle Green Valley Community Workshops

A series of community workshops were conducted on the Middle Green Valley area as part of the Solano County General Plan update program. The community workshops were designed to give the public an opportunity to provide input in shaping the future of the Middle Green Valley Area area. As part of the workshops, property owner proposals for rural residential development submitted to the County were reviewed.

Each community workshop was interactive, with participation of community stakeholder groups, agencies, residents, property owners and others and built upon the work from the previous workshop. Through the community workshops, land use and circulation opportunities and issues of concern were identified for consideration in the development of conceptual land use alternatives for the area. Based on community review of the alternatives, a preferred alternative was identified. The alternatives will be considered by the Citizens Advisory Committee as part of the General Plan update.
